Summer time is a great time to find those bass in the deeper water. Cruise the water and look for bottom composition changes and rocks. Drag a jig or tie on a Texas rig worm. Early morn is the best time to get them.

They look more like elephant ear plants than lily pads, I'm not sure what kind of plants they are, but past the bridge it gets very shallow and there are large patches of these big leaved plants sticking up out of the water. They stick up too far to really successfully pull a frog through but a dark colored creature bait can be killer!
