Loads of smaller smallmouth in 6-8' of water in main lake areas. 6' and shallower in small cuts and coves. Eating about anything that makes it near them. Zoom UV Speed craw t-rigged, Crankbaits for a few of them. Most success was on a TRD finesse worm on a Berkley half head. Sharper and sturdier hook helps out over the typical finesse hook seen on ned-heads.
