5/1/2021 Water temps ranged from 55-61 degrees. The fish weren't quite in spawn mode just yet. Fished along weedlines and dropoffs around 7-8ft. Was successful on a number of baits such as dropshot, texas rigged plastics, jigs, swimjigs, lipless cranks, and jerkbait. They seemed to be feeding on anything that they could get into their mouths. I initially started shallow but I kept seeing cruisers around the 7-8ft range and I backed off the bank.

Water temps are a steady 54-55 degrees. Caught majority of our fish on ledges with weeds that lead up to shallow flats. Swimjig and ned rigs was what we got them on.

Spawn is starting. Water temps were 60-63. Fish are starting to get into that weird spawn mode. Could not pattern anything at all really. Started by throwing moving baits on weedy flats and weedlines and got nothing but pike. Managed one 2lb bass off some emergent grass up shallow. Began throwing finesse techniques like dropshots and ned rigs in 10-12ft and managed to catch several tiny bass.
