I was fishing an MN Kayak Fishing Association Bass Tournament and found a stretch of shoreline that had submerged weeds. The area was LOADED with bass and pike. I fished the weed line and just inside the weed line and found lots of fish in ambush mode that couldn't resist the thump...thump...thump of the chatterbait.

Bite was somewhat tough this morning so I ended up pitching/Skipping docks with the sleeper craw. Most of my bites was on the fall. You can also slow drag it with a hop to get a reaction bite. The sleeper craw is also great for skipping. So skip it far back under the dock and get ready for your hook set!
