Conditions seemed ideal for a good frog bite/top water day, but ended up putting the wacky rig to work for all the keepers of the day. Co-angler grabbed a nice one (4lbs 6oz) under a freshly fallen tree. Spent most of the time targeting surface disruptions with either the wacky, frogs, or a Damiki Umpa on a BFS Setup.

Hit the water around 6:30am. Lake is HIGH and we had to get the truck up to the rockers to get it in the water. No significant wind as well. First things first, we caught a TON of fish. I had 55 on my own and my buddy had another 30 at least. This lake is very nearly unfished with the ramp starting 20' from the shorline (in the water). I wouldn't recommend trying to put a bass boat in. Started off pulling several in off the pop max. Then a few with the frog. Got some with the 110SR pretty much all morning long. Basically, everything you threw would get bit eventually. It was a fun day.
