Typical fall pattern - Located a school of largemouth bass in standing timber that was adjacent to a spawning flat. This standing timber was in 8 to 10 ft of water and had baitfish (Bluegill) for forage. The technique was swimming a bluegill colored 3/8 oz jig with a green pumpkin craw trailer along the timber. Strikes were aggressive.

Typical fall patterns, bass relating to heavy submerged and matted vegetation in protected coves, channels, etc. "Walkng the dog" with a River2Sea Phat Mat frog in a dark color (ex. Snipe) is perfect during low light hours (0530 to 0730 hours). High percentage areas include holes and irregularities in the grass, along with combinations of wood, stumps, limbs, etc. FYI...with frog fishing, there will be misses, blowup, etc, use these as opportunities to fine tune your color choice. There is always a reason why that particular bass "missed", rather than "connected" with the frog.
