TechniqueHard Topwater (Popping)SeasonSummerStructureRock PileBass were hitting top water baits just before sun up. After sun was up for a short while and the top water bite slowed down we switched to Texas rigged worms. I was using a Bass Pro Shops Black Fire tail 6 inch worm. We caught around a dozen bass before 9:30 am. By 10 am it was hot outside with very little wind.

TechniqueMedium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12')SeasonFallStructureBouldersGot out at 7am and fished till 12:30pm. Had good amount of north wind. With a water temp of 69 degrees. I used a Irod IRG703c paired with a revo STX. I used 12# Berkley big game and medium diving cranks. I fished steep bluffs and as many rock piles I could bounce my crank off of. Chartreuse and black worked the best. I didn’t slow down the whole time just covered water. Nothing big but a lot of smallies. Great day on the water!

TechniqueSpinnerbaitsSeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureRip RapIt was a good day out on the lake, the wind was blowing 15 to 18 out of the south east. water clarity is about two foot out by the main lake. the water temp was between 57 and 61. The farther you go back into the pockets / coves the more the water temp goas up. I caught 6 throwing a war eagle spinner bait and a kvd j1100 jerk bait. and stayed on the windy side. all my my bites come in between 5 and 10 foot of water.
