On 12/9/21, this Lake had approx 6-8" of ice. Had the wheeler out on it. Because this lake has a max depth of 5 feet, interesting enough you fish it like late spring ice. Drilling multiple holes in the reeds and on the outer edges of clumps, you'd find very healthy 9-12" perch and good eater size walleyes were extremely aggressive for the rattling spoon as well. My 4lb test held up but may want to go up a size. Had to deal with many pesky pike as well. Green/gold was the favorite color tipped with a tiny chunk of minnow. Tight lines!
