fished 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., northwest wind, worked north of landing along milfoil edges in water 8-15 ft, scored only one largemouth over 12 ft of water on over weed flats, weeds still very green in lake, fished to north end of lake then went deep over 20 ft to 40 ft of water, marked suspended fish over deep water, dropped jigs down to see if I could catch anything but no luck, fished topwater some for muskies and northern, but no bite. May have just been a slow fishing day. I did run shallow and tried fishing in the slop, it was dead calm and I did not even see any panfish or baitfish in shallow, I am guessing most fish suspended following schools of baitfish.
