    Bite was extremely tough, small buck bass(largmouth) were pretty aggressive on the jerkbait protecting fry, but we're tough to get them to commit. If I killed it they lost interest and if I sped up they would be satisfied, But by accident i caught a couple of decent size (smallies) when I figured out if i hit it really softly, hardly moving that bait, and let it suspend just over the vegetation for what felt like far to long, the bigger girls would come out of seemingly no where, and hit it like a frieght train.
