Using a drop shot, 7-9 feet on hump edges proved effective for catching smallmouth. There wasn't as much vegetation as normal, so we had to find specific areas that held them. Was a great day on the lake.

I was actually fishing for bass when this beast hit me not once but twice in 5.3 ft. I was casting towards the middle of the lake from 15 ft bringing it back to 5ft and wham!!!
