Caught my new PB (hopefully not for long) and won big bass at Luck of The Draw stop #1. Flipping docks was the name of the game and the Lil Magnum with a craw trailer enticed the big girl to bite on a tough day with 20+mph winds. 1/2 oz was key in keeping bottom contact.

We fished Cedar Creek for the Luck of the Draw Tournament in October and the day started out really slow, we were catching fish but nothing but a bunch of squeakers. We had our first limit around 11am throwing stroker craws in the very backs of docks. We only had a small 7b lb limit. At 1pm we decided to pick up a divine swim jig and a 3/0 owner flashy swimmer with a divine swim bait pro blue color. We ran docks for about 30 min unit we got on a stretch loaded with Bass, we upgraded multiple times with the 4 and 5 pounders both being caught on the flashy swimmer on the outside edges of the docks. We ended the day with 16.9 lbs

The bite from the day before completely dissolved and started catching bass on docks on secondary points and docks that had brush piles. The mustad assault hooks are pretty solid hooks. Really stout, and coated for a slick puncture like most other higher end hooks. Had no problem pinning a fish on the hook and having it come off, every fish that bit got brought in and was easy to handle.

Fish suspended on corner posts outside edge of docks. Neko rigged senkos fished slowly. Docks in 6ft or less near a creek channel or swing.
