    Targetting deep milfoil beds with a heavy dropshot setup works well for getting bites from those lethargic summer largies and offers a different look than a jig or Texas rig. I prefer to use heavy braid or fluorocarbon with a leader of 12-14 inches between my weight and Zoom ZCraw. This suspends the bait right in front of those bass that are sitting on bottom and offers a passing look for bass sitting higher in the weedbed.
