TechniqueSpinnerbaitsSeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructurePointsBetween the three of us, we had to work hard for 9-10 bass. Spots are making their way to their spawning spots, and preparing the spots. We found a few on smaller points, in 8-12 ft of water, the rest were scattered around docks, and channel swings right off points. We couldn’t get consistent bites but managed to get some bites off a variety of baits.

TechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSummerStructureDocksGreen pumpkin shad chatterbait with the chartreuse shad spunk shad caught one and had another hit on a quick trip later in the afternoon. Caught next to a dock, steady retrieve with occasional twitch. I was using a golden shiner jackhammer first with no luck, switched to the green pumpkin shad and within 4-5 casts had a catch.
