TechniqueSoft Body Swimbaits (Small/Medium)SeasonSummerStructureBrush PilesI looked for brush where I could see fish in the tops of piles, then I'd toss the small swimbait over the tops, and slowly reel it over the tops. If I didn't get a bite within 10 casts, I'd move to a new pile.

Most of the bluegill spawn has wrapped up, but there are still big largemouth hanging around and ready to eat. The bite has been a lot more active early in the morning, but they pull up really tight to cover as the sun gets up.
