TechniqueTubesSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureDocksFish were in the bedding mood. Many were under docks but they were mostly small fish. Finding shallow water that had a rocky bottom was best. Slow presentation of the tube worked best.

TechniqueHard Topwater (Popping)SeasonSummerStructureDocksThe weather wa medium winds 7 to 10 mph. Went to the calm side of the lake and fished in the 3 ft water ranges and around docks. I was using a popper style bait. Caught several small fish. My fishing buddy was skipping the docks with a Yamamoto Senko. We caught equal amounts of fish but never caught a 14 in fish. Moved out to 6 to 10 feet of water and drop shotted flat worms to only catch more of the same small fish. I was still a day of catching fish and enjoying one another company. He was someone I started fishing with 25 years ago.
