Post spawn bass are feeding very heavily on bluegill in shallow water around standing timber and weeds. Bluegill are feeding on insects on the surface and bass are chasing them. Topwater frogs are constantly getting strikes with short pauses. Again, at Duck Creek the larger fish are very difficult to find, but schools of smaller bass make this a very fun time to fish.

Landed a Master Angler Redear Sunfish after trying multiple different lures. It finally attacked half of a 5” green pumpkin senko that was put on a ned rig head. It nibbled at the lure a few times but finally grabbed it and didn’t let go. It was on the edge of bluegill beds and a weed bed.
