Caught this bass in a bed under a downed tree in the shade of another tree. I dropped my ribbontail worm into the bed and popped it a couple of times before the bass inhaled it. It was my only catch of the trip, but even the one made it worth it more than it already was. Also, for those who are interested, there were a few good-sized carp a little farther upstream by yet another downed tree at a bend in the creek.
