finding off shore boulders and rock piles was the ticket for finding fish. Most fish were sitting between 10 and 17 feet of water. Bite picked up as the sun came out around mid day

Fish were very shallow on rock piles. Fishing in the evening, bait balls were off the deeper sides of the rocks. Have to fight through some pickerel but the smallmouth are there as well
