Water temp was just under 80 when we hit the water and then we got slammed with some hard rain, not much wind. Cooled the water down a bit at the surface and made for an interesting bite. All but one of our keepers were on wacky rigs. The biggest was on a rat-l-trap at the end of the night. Caught a couple on frogs, swim baits and a BFS popper. I bent out a hook on a big one (damaged the hook earlier extracting it from a dog fish and should have replaced it). We ended up with just under 8lbs w/ 4 fish. 1st-3rd were all right under 9lbs.

Had a great day out with the smallest. Water temps hovering right around 61°, air temp a bit cooler. A slight breeze from the North West putting a little motion on the surface. Started the day off pretty quick with a bass on a wacky rig and then another on a t-rigged stick bait. From that point on it was pretty much the Jerkbait for the rest of the day. Every 6-10 minutes I hooked up with another bass on the 110 SR. The jerkbait far exceeded my expectations. I caught 15 total on it during the ~3.5 hours we were out. We caught a few on frogs, ned's, stickbaits as well. And my little angler in the photo managed to outfish my co-angler again.
