I decided on a last-minute hike up to Mormon Ravine out of Rattlesnake Bar. I didn't get up there till about 7:15 pm, so only had about an hour of daylight before I had to head back. Plenty of time for some fun summer time top water action. This was the best one.... almost 2 lbs... but not quite. Man, it's fun to see these bass blow up a top water lure! ...Accidentally caught a big ol' bullfrog too. :)
