Largemouth BassTechniqueTexas Rigs (Pitch/Flip)SeasonSummerStructureLily PadsI fished the river channel and started casting the outer edge with a Zoom Horny Toad to either get bites or show me where the fish were. Then switched to a punching rig to catch bass where the blowups happened. Slow and steady was the key

Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSummerStructureDocksGot out about 6am. Just casting in between and under docks on the west side of the lake and we pulled in 6 nice large mouths in the boat in the matter of a few hours. They were hitting the bladed jigs hard.

Northern PikeTechniqueSwim JigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationThe clients not only caught their first ever Northern pike but several pike and bigger and bigger and some Bass too. It was a great day of chucking and winding and netting and laughing. It’s great to clients and fathers and sons having a great day on the water. The memories will last a life time.

Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationTargeted largemouth and had good success in the morning ripping bladed jigs, crank baits, and swim jigs through holes in the grass in 2-4 feet of water. Fish fed aggressively early in the morning between 5-7am, and the bite continued through the afternoon, but the amount of action definitely tapered off. My biggest 5 fish went 86” and my biggest fish weighed in at 3.64 lbs.
