Just casting in between and under docks on the west side of the lake and we pulled in 6 nice large mouths in the boat in the matter of a few hours. They were hitting the bladed jigs hard.

Targeted largemouth and had good success in the morning ripping bladed jigs, crank baits, and swim jigs through holes in the grass in 2-4 feet of water. Fish fed aggressively early in the morning between 5-7am, and the bite continued through the afternoon, but the amount of action definitely tapered off. My biggest 5 fish went 86” and my biggest fish weighed in at 3.64 lbs.

These guys caught some huge largemouth in the weeds. If it was a tournament their best 5 went 19lbs and they managed this in less then two hours. Once the sun came out the bite slowed way down. They did a great job and had a great trip.
