The Fremont Lakes are chalked full of smaller bass, so it was fun to get all the bites I did. Nothing huge, but the fish were staying tight to lay downs so I got my kayak up as close as I could and skipped my wacky rig up under the lay down as far as I could which produced the most bites. Shade seems to be the deal this late in the summer with the heat.
