Crappie have moved off brush, are schooling up in winter size schools. Big fish 12 to 15 inch are roaming points adjacent to deeper channels, mid day will be suspended in 10 to 20 foot water. Shad are spawning so crappie are chasing Shad shallow in low light conditions. Points south of Goat Island and Drowning creek are where you need to be now.

Due to extremely clear water bait balls are very visible and from an elevated position on the bank simply watching for any signs of disturbances in the schools. Then casting into the middle of the ball and simply let it fall then a couple of twitches and repeat. Big easy bait for big hungry fish.
