The lake fished like a very typical late June Gull Lake. We hit some pretty early on Jerkbaits and grabbed one small keeper. We consistently caught small fish all night long and picked up a squeaker every now and then to fill out the bag. Most of our keepers were on Neds, with one buzzer beater on the popmax at the end. We ended up with 7.85lbs, with a big of 2.05 Big bass for the night was 3.55lbs Bags were; 12.05lbs 11.75lbs 11.65lbs

This is a strange year water temps are still in the mid 70s blue gills are still spawning. Bass are still in post spawn

No trophies but fish were crashing the surface all morning for baitfish. I swapped out the factory hooks for Mustad Alpha Point trebles. In approximately 2 hours, I landed 12 - no fish lost.

Water temps around 75 degrees Large and small mouth bass are moving in off the ledges to attack the blue gill beds. Surprising enough the blue gills are still bedding, you can catch nice size bass with a swim jig also

5/20/2021, twitching a plopper over submerged grass patches. Landed 2 largemouths, both around 4lbs.
