Work the inside weedlines and weed flats with a bladed jig for big largemouth. I use 30 pound braid with a Jackhammer bladed jig on a St Croix Legend Tournament Workhorse rod.

The bite on Gull Lake has been on absolute fire as of late, there isn't a wrong way to catch them at the moment but I've found the best fishing on the grass ledges anywhere from 8 - 16 ft. Seems like a large range, but when you get out on the lake and see how fast the drops are it makes sense. The weeds are less dense this year so I've found the bite to be better with worm profile baits.
