Fished here from 7 AM to 3 PM. Fishing was tough, we only caught one smallmouth, but numerous largemouth. Seems that most were on the drop off around 9 to 12 foot. Very little wind in the morning, so slow baits were the most effective. The wind really picked up in the afternoon and then faster baits became more productive.

Still trying to get into smallies but caught a couple 16” largemouth on a drop shot in about 12 feet of water…was fishing by the dunes which is normally a good smallmouth spot…also caught 6 other largemouth in various locations with the neko rig…perch janitor was the deal with them…pulled to out of the north bayou in the stumps, two off a seawall, one u see a dock and one in a shade line next to some lily pads…seems like they were cruising
