Kids had a fun time catching a lot of bluegills from the pontoon, kayak and dock. They had to sort through many scrappy smaller fish to find the quality size gills. The shady areas of docks and main lake bluff walls were the primary locations. Vertical jigging or casting a float and jig to the dropoffs or shaded areas proved to be the most consistent presentation. Great way to get young kids hooked on fishing!
