The smallmouth started to really show up in the last couple of years. 1:10 bass caught will be a smallmouth. The catch rate is higher in the main lake. Look for docks with rock.

Work the ned along the weed edges 8-12' This lake drops pretty quickly so the "catch zone" will be narrow. You can also use a wacky worm in these areas. With the angle of this lake it tends to be windy which makes fishing a worm tough. DO NOT OVERLOOK the morning topwater bite in the bays. Throw a Whopper Plopper and you will know within minutes if the bite is on or not.
