Warm temps and light winds helped warm the shallows a bit. Sought out shallow, weedy areas and looked for signs of any bait fish life. Found a few largemouth pushing shallow in less than 2 ft of water. Fish were super spooky so long casts with light, floating lures were useful to make quality casts to specific targets. Great time of year to twitch floating Rapalas!

Fished from shore along rip rap and caught several keepers. Fish wouldn’t react to moving baits, but bit neko rig well. Areas where weeds were mixed with the rip rap showed better results.
