Crappies and Bluegills hitting out of the pads. Light bite but good numbers. Electric Chicken ShadFryz on a 1/16th ounce round head with red sickle hook worked best.

Fished spinnerbait through and around lily pads in channels. Fish were primarily on outside edges in first couple feet of pads. Vary retrieve, bump pads often, look for irregularities and mixed cover. Veritas MH rod has perfect action with just right amount of tip flex, fish were hitting lightly but all hooked in top of mouth and stayed hooked.
