TechniqueSpinnerbaitsSeasonSummerStructureRock PileBuggs Island has hosted many tournaments over the years and there is a reason why. Bass are plentiful and you can get some good size ones as well. The most productive summer pattern for me is throwing a spinnerbait on chunk rock piles near points. Also found some on top water at first light near rip rap. Woody cover provides a great place to throw some soft plastics including a shakeyhead. Good luck at Kerr this summer.
