I was able to catch fish at the tailrace, they were running 4 generators and the fish were suspended over bait balls. I would let a cotton cordell spoon fall through the bait ball and the fish would eat it on the fall. I was also working the spoon very erratically. I caught 20 plus fish the biggest being 3.54. I also caught. some fish off of a bluff walls.

On my recent trip to the Alabama River(in my backyard), we had an amazing day fishing for catfish. We were using live shed bait and Mad Katz fishing poles with Pin reels which made handling the big bites a breeze. The sweet spot for depth was around 10–12 feet, and it didn’t take long before we started reeling in some really nice catches!
