Second to last stop on our Colorado Kayak Bassmasters tournament trail. Basically, the start of fall. Shad everywhere. Started the morning fishing rock, and managed to pull one decent one and one small one off some isolated rock using a wiggle wart and a jig. However, they hadn’t fully pulled onto the rock just yet. Figured out they were sitting on grass edges and stump edges by throwing a Jackhammer around every possible piece of cover I could find. Managed to pull off 3rd place and was catching fish throughout the day, just couldn’t make the 3/4” upgrade to pull off first place.
