The submerged vegetation is not to its summer height yet so there are some options other than weedless or topwater. There were a few bass in close but most seemed to be off shore in the weeds.

I was fishing the Neko rig in the shallow to mid-depth water. We saw multiple fish close to the shore. I caught one, and hooked two others. The one bass I caught kind of looks like it had back problems. Lol.
