The conditions were overcast and windy. I was using a 3/8 oz. Googan Squad Zinger in the bluegill color pattern, with a Googan Baits Saucy Swimmer for a trailer. I was also using a trailer hook. My retrieval was slow to medium speed. I casted my spinnerbait kind of in line with the dock/walkway, and I think the bass I caught was possibly hiding out underneath it. I was a using a Googan Squad Gold Series Reaction casting rod.

The submerged vegetation is not to its summer height yet so there are some options other than weedless or topwater. There were a few bass in close but most seemed to be off shore in the weeds.
