Great fishing. 50+ days. 18” average. Used barbless hooks (squeezed ) down for catch and release. 12” or so off bottom tipped with leech or minnow Basically like drop shot fishing. Had a blast dress warm even in June. Ice off lake maybe 2 1/2 weeks

Shadalicious swimbait on 1/2 to 3/4 oz kalin swimbait jig head Shimano curado baitcaster, st croix victory medium rod, 15 lb power pro and 17 lb seagar flouro. A fun and aggressive tactic to catch big walleye , pike and small mouth.
