First time on the lake, pulled up on a weed point off a large flat and caught largemouth on deep cranks and swimbaits. We were able to duplicate this on a few similar spots throughout the lake. As the sun got high and the wind died a bit, we switched to bottom crawling baits(ned, football jigs) on hard spots and caught a few smallmouth as well. The key seemed to be patches of coontail outside of the milfoil flats.

Find good milfoil with hard bottoms and found better than average largemouth on Texas rigged tubes and jigs. Scanning edges of grass lines with scattered rock produced smallies on dropshots
