Went scouting for some ice fishing spots. Found fish randomly along the bottom of ledges. We would spot a school, then anchor down and vertical jig for them with small crappie jigs. Water temps were 43 at the time. Hopefully they stay where they are for ice. Good luck to those hunting WI gun opener. Stay safe, stay warm, and shoot straight!
