Fishing in 8 feet on docks with a wacky rig working it very slow

I was able to catch a 3lb smallie first cast with a dropshot up against some rock/bolder piles. It hit immediately and I was able to get a few more on that structure. This time of year, where the water is hot, fish will stay shallow and against structure heavily. Try throwing a smaller dropshot, if they don’t want a smaller finesse worm, try sizing it up a bit more. Fish will bite it better.
