Flipping a 1/2oz jig into weed lines in 10-12 feet of water was very productive! Schools of largemouth were hanging around grass lines that had healthy sand grass mixed with milfoil. If the fish stopped biting the jig, you could fire in a Shakey head and pick up a few more fish.

The grass seems very healthy on George this summer! The very shallow cover seemed vacant with the low water levels but weed lines in 5-10' were very productive. Tossing a white 1/4oz swim jig with a white rage craw over the tops of the grass worked well. If you could find a few fish, slowing down and working the area with a Texas rigged crew tube resulted in additional fish.
