Could only get small spots to hit on top water, even though I could find suspended fish everywhere. I was just unable to find anything that they would bite. All 3 that were caught today were small.

With the recent rain in the upstate, there has been a really good moving top water bite in the upper reaches of creeks and rivers on lake Hartwell. Grab your favorite buzzbait/whopper plopper and or choppo and cover water for some good largemouth.

Fish were schooling on secondary points feeding on bluebacks. Also had some luck up shallow off of main lake pockets with a buzzbait early in the morning.
