With the recent rain in the upstate, there has been a really good moving top water bite in the upper reaches of creeks and rivers on lake Hartwell. Grab your favorite buzzbait/whopper plopper and or choppo and cover water for some good largemouth.

Lake Hartwell is currently very low. I have not seen it. This slow in several years. Could only get small spots to hit on top water, even though I could find suspended fish everywhere. I was just unable to find anything that they would bite. All 3 that were caught today were small.
