Moved up into about 8-10 feet of water where I Started seeing good cabbage clumps. Most luck was dragging a jig through these clumps, a weightless wacky rig, or throwing a bluegill colored swim jig retrieved really slow. Big bites came on the jig.

Largemouth were near thick lily pads in grass in 4 ft. of water 1-2 hours before dusk near Betsy Ross Resort.

Looking for your transition points from hard bottom to cover was key. Also finding off shore structure resulted in some bigger bass 4+lbers.

Northern Pike were in abundance on weed edges and drops offs. Look at inner curve of points for larger sizes pike.
