I'm thinking this is a spotted bass because of the dorsal fin. Caught two on this trip. Both just slowly dragging across the rocky bottom

Fished mid-morning this past Sunday on Little Maumelle River (which isn't an option on here.) They were hitting a frog pretty well in the Lilipads in 3 - 4' of water. Seemed better when it dropped of to 6 -7' pretty rapidly. Being mid-morning, it helped to find patches of shade on or near the pads. Sections without pads, seemed better on spinnerbaits than anything else.
