Clear skies with minimal wind. I fished the Hit Worm along the grass edge and the Bass smoked it! I let the Hit Worm do all the work, I just worked it along the grass. Once I had the pattern worked out I was able to catch a few more. I was using a St. Croix Blackbass rod, Lews Speed Spin 300, with 12lb Sunline Braid to a 12lb Sunline Fluro leader.

Partly cloudy day and there was an algae bloom going on. The water was quite murky, so I chose the Black Power Worm on a Berkley Shaky Head. The plan was to hit the holes around visible grass clumps. On the first cast he hit it on the fall! Don’t be hesitant about throwing worms 10 or 12 inches long, the big Bass will crush them!
