Fishing tops and weed edges from 6ft to 10ft of water. Found them by slow cranking along the weeds edges to get reaction bites and when that slowed down switched to drop shot. Was using the billy rub hawt shot in orange and was catching them on almost every cast. Find green weeds with bluegills around and work it slow.

Target fish on the deep breakline on the edges and ends of main lake points. Mix of rock/hard bottom and sparse vegetation was key.

2nd tournament of the year went well as we ended up with a 8 pound 3 fish limit. We fished deep docks and caught a lot of numbers but couldn’t find the size we needed.

Wind was brutal, but found some calmer areas. Targeted weed line edges near deeper water and structure with finesse setups.
