Winter Basin Crappie Fishing is normally best at sunset and sun up but will go all night normally. Locate the basin and start drilling out the side closest to the shallow water, I like to work the edge of the deep water where the break stops on the basin. Normally they are suspended over the deep water about 1/2 way down, use your electronics to locate them and set your bobber just above them. Tip your jig with a crappie minnow and hook it right behind the dorsal fin. If that isn't working try a wax worm or a Euro Larva. Good Luck
