This report is for October 11th, 2025. Weather was cool, clear and a strong cold front. Fished from 7am to 3pm for the Greenhorn Fall Open. Started out pretty cold, in the mid-40s for air temps with medium light wind, but slowly warmed up. Overall I caught some fish, but lost a couple nice ones that would have really helped. I fished docks nearly all day and caught maybe 10 to 15 fish, but just not any bigguns. Tried some frog fishing as well, but my spots were super active like they were during my September scouting. Oh well! It was a fun day out on Tonka during some beautiful fall weather.
