Got on a decent crappie bite right away in the morning out on Harrison's bay on lake Minnetonka. Caught fish from 6-9 am and then they shut off. Caught them early in 9 foot and then moved to about 13 as it hit around 8 am. I was using a a clam flutter spoon in the wonder bread color tipped with a wax worm and gulp crappie nibbles. My buddy was using a gold flutter spoon and doing the same thing and catching them as well (that's my buddy in the picture). Presentation was pretty standard. They were pretty finicky so you would jig until they got interested and then just dead stick once they start to come up to it and that's normally when they would bite.
